Champlain Trail Museum and Pioneer Village

Take a trip back in time as you stroll through our museum and pioneer village.

With one of the largest collections of Ottawa Valley artifacts, the Champlain Trail Museum is truly a must see! Main building exhibits include a replica of Champlain’s astrolabe, a Cockburn pointer boat, a Corliss Steam Engine, Pembroke’s 1923 Bickle fire truck and much more!

Historic buildings in the pioneer village include the former SS#1 Lowertown Schoolhouse, a pioneer log home, the Micksburg pioneer church a blacksmith shop and other outbuildings. The Museum is also a certified member of the Route Champlain.
