Located in southeastern Ontario, Ottawa is perched on the south shore of the Ottawa River, where\u00a0it\u00a0convergences with the Gatineau and Rideau water systems,\u00a0directly across from Gatineau, Quebec. The United Counties of Prescott and Russell lie further east from downtown Ottawa, along the banks of the Ottawa River.<\/p>\n

Ottawa is well connected. The VIA Rail\u202ftrain station\u202fis only a\u00a020 minute\u00a0bus ride from the heart of the city, and\u202fOttawa Central Station, the city\u2019s bus terminus, is also just minutes away from downtown Ottawa. The\u202fOttawa International Airport\u202fis approximately half an hour from the city core.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
